It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!!!

As of last night Branden and I have made it an entire week in our new house and things are looking pretty good. The living room and kitchen are all decked out for Christmas. I love our new house, it's just perfect!

Things are in the works to be all ready before the Christmas party at our house on the 25th. This is no big party just Branden's family coming over to have snacks and letting the babies open presents. Not our babies but cousin Melissa's Babies! They came by the other day to check out the new house. Colbey and Colin are getting so big. When I first met Melissa she had just had Colbey, now that BIG boy is turning FIVE!!! Time sure does fly. And Little Colin is a walking, talking, very smiley, one year old, who loves sweet tea and Bella... The other night when Melissa and the boys were leaving Colbey told Branden that we better have Christmas lights up soon and sure enough, we have lights. Not many lights but enough to say we have some for them too see when they come to the Christmas party.
We still have some minor unpacking to do. I am hoping to find some missing items in the last few boxes we have. I have somehow misplaced my phone charger, a library book that is due on the 21st and a set of truck keys... Branden and Tim unpacked alot of boxes last night while Branden's mom and I were out. I was so excited when I opened up that room to find an actual bed and the carpet, instead of a mountain of boxes! It's all coming together very well.

This is the most completed room in the house, the dining room!

The porch is coming together too!
With Christmas being less than a week away, the Mr. and I have alot of shopping left. The presents under our tree are looking pretty poor and that's just not exceptable! So we have a pretty full week. Today is the only off day we have so Branden went hunting and I am going with my Mama after work to buy some clothes. Needless to say it's gonna be a busy week!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL!!!!

and they left their first nest...

Yes you have read that right we have left our first home. The home of our first days as a married couple, the home of catching cupcake of fire, the home of Bella being a puppy, the home of almost three years as a married couple. Luckily we didn't move far only about a mile. We moved even closer to our family mini farm.

I love our new house. Our new home has plenty of space for all of Branden's toys and my antiques. It is a complete disaster right now. We have boxes everywhere! We have the large furniture in place in all the rooms, the kitchen and dining room are kinda put together. You never know how much you have until you have to move it. Branden and I knew we had a lot but boy we have a lot more that I thought. Moving is a pain and there is no way we could have done it without our family. My parents cooked/provided dinner and washed our clothes and Branden's Mom and Tim helped us do the actual moving part.

After 2 days of none stop moving and unpacking I am extremely tired! We have been so busy getting everything in and ready for Christmas that getting to bed at a reasonable time is out the question. Everything is coming together quite nicely though. It looks as if we should FINALLY have a tree up on Saturday. Yes you read that right Saturday, December 15! I know I am in shock myself, normally our tree is up December 1st but we sacrificed this year to get into our new home.

Last night at about nine I sat down for the first time to actually enjoy all our hard work. Branden started a fire in the fire place and we sat down for some TV and relax time. I got a little too relaxed and fell asleep. Going to bed at 2am and getting up at 5:30am, to go to work, is exhausting! I did manage to snap a couple pictures of the fire last night before passing out...

Our house is not all the way together but when it is I will post some pictures. Until then I will be unpacking like a mad woman. Hoping to have it all together before Saturday!
